French Polynesia
Like something out of a King Kong movie set, the landscapes and scenery in French Polynesia are wild and epic. Steep, jungle-clad mountains, wild-growing fruit, powerful waves, and mysterious tikis can all be found in these remote islands in the South Pacific.
Water
Certainly enhanced by our visit during the rainy season, French Polynesia is all about the waves crashing upon the shorelines, the blue waters filled with fish in their lagoons, and the water found cascading off of every cliffside.
Mana
In Polynesian culture, Mana is the spiritual force that various humans or objects possess. Wandering around jungled landscapes filled with ancient tiki and in meeting the warm and engaging Polynesians, one still feels that strong sense of mana today.
Flora & Fauna
The French Polynesian islands teem with life of every kind. The lagoons and waters are filled with sharks, rays, and other tropical fish. And the land is filled with wild fruit and the most remarkable plants.
